Tenders Now Available on POS!

Tenders are now available on the POS to track inventory that leaves the tasting room at no charge. The new feature is available with a default list of options at checkout like, "damaged", "donations", and "samples". This new feature is designed to provide you with more detailed visibility over your inventory and assist with tax reporting.

Also! In your POS settings, you can add tenders unique to your business and/or delete menu items that do not apply.

Make Quick Updates to Wine Settings

Updating various settings for each individual wine just became much easier. We've added a user-friendly search bar at the top of every wine detail page, making it simpler to navigate through the array of options. By typing in a keyword within the search bar, the system will guide you to the specific section of your wine settings, enabling you to quickly input your preferences and save them.

Subscription Update: 'Renewal' Included on Repeat Orders

For the sake of clarity when tracking subscriptions, the system will now clearly say 'renewal' on those that are repeatedly fulfilled. The following records will be updated:

  • Receipts: All subscription receipts will prominently feature the word 'Renewal' next to the relevant charges, clearly indicating the purpose of the payment to the member.
  • Order Status: When checking the status of an order, 'Renewal' will be clearly displayed, ensuring a consistent and understandable view of the order's intent for your staff.
  • Member Records: Member records will be updated to reflect the inclusion of 'Renewal' in subscription history, making it easy for both staff and members to reference past transactions.

Ensure inventory isn't tied up in layaway any longer than necessary! Take advantage of our new "Forfeit" option on declined club orders, allowing you to remove the order and replenish the inventory for immediate sale.

New Event Feature: Separate quantity label per event

For each of your separate events, you can now create a unique label for the quantity field (e.g., number of guests, number of reservations, number of suites, etc.). This label will display next to the quantity selection field on your event booking page. Please notify the team if you'd like this feature enabled.

Introducing the New Reports Section! Accessing comprehensive sales data has never been easier.

In the new Reports section on the left menu, navigate to the 'Sales' tab, where you'll find an array of valuable insights to assess profit and quantity sold. Switching to the 'Financial' tab, this section offers a comprehensive overview of your collections by payment type. You can gain an in-depth understanding of your members' engagement by selecting the 'Club' tab. Lastly, the Reports section allows you the flexibility to save My Reports, comprising your most critical and frequently accessed report views.

Process Wholesale Orders on VinesOS

You can now use the POS home screen to process wholesale orders.

  1. Create custom prices on the fly. Enable the price override setting for your staff member and allow them to easily adjust the price that was agreed upon with the wholesaler.
  2. Easily delete tax off the order. Staff members can modify the order with a wholesale button that sets the tax to zero.
  3. Receive and track payments made by check. For the wholesaler that insists on paying with checks, you can receive the payment, track, and filter to view all that paid this way.
  4. Filter to view paid Wholesale orders in your Dashboard.
  5. Easily review open orders that are unpaid on the POS home screen.
