Big news!

We've completed a major product improvement. Plus, we've made numerous smaller changes and tweaks β€” all of this to make data syncing easier and more reliable for you.

See sync progress and easily fix issues when contacts don't sync

Wouldn't it be nice to have peace of mind that data has fully synced from app A to app B? And to know what to fix when data hasn't synced over?

This is now easy with Outfunnel.​

​Once you've set up a connection between apps you'll get taken to the Status page that displays:

  • πŸ”„ an overview of how many contacts are in sync and how many have errored
  • πŸ§‘ a detailed overview of which contacts have synced over correctly, which have not, and why not.
  • πŸ“ you can even export a csv-file with all the syncing errors.

The sync feed on the Status page is now live for all new contact syncs (ie. syncing contacts from a CRM to a marketing tool) and for both existing and new form syncs (Wix, Facebook, LinkedIn lead forms, WordPress forms).

We've also pushed out various usability fixes:

  • It's now easier to select all forms and/or lists for engagement sync instead of selecting them one by one.
  • Linkedin form name is available as a mappable field
  • When Outfunnel creates a lead in Pipedrive it now gets linked to an organization.

❄️ January Update

For the last two months, we've been mainly improving the existing and also taking some well-deserved rest :)

Here's a rundown of the updates:

See the full visitor UTM

Previously Outfunnel showed the Source, Medium, and Campaign values from UTMs but we've now also included Term and Content. If available, this shows in your CRM Lead source field, in the website activity, and in the Visitor Feed in Outfunnel.

Cleaner activity content in your CRM

We've made the activities easier to read and have included a URL to both the campaign report and the email itself so your sales team can view the sent/opened/clicked email without having to log in to the marketing tool.

Other updates

  • Elementor Forms file upload field can now be mapped to a CRM field which produces a URL to access the file
  • With ActiveCampaign, Brevo, and Klaviyo we showed the field mapping multiple times if you created multiple rules but this didn't make sense as it's the same contact database. You now only see a single field mapping screen.
  • Reliability improvements for Mailchimp and HubSpot
  • Better field mapping experience for Klaviyo custom fields

πŸ”₯ Multiple Klaviyo integration updates

Klaviyo has been top of mind for us this past month and with multiple new features it's now out of beta!

Here's a rundown of the updates:

Record email engagements from any Klaviyo campaign

All your Klaviyo engagement data can now be recorded to your CRM, including single email campaigns and flows. Simply choose the flows, lists, or segments you send out emails to and start syncing those clicks!

Subscribe/Unsubscribe contacts in Klaviyo

By default, Outfunnel adds contacts that match the CRM segment to the designated Klaviyo list but doesn't subscribe them.

With this update, contacts can now also be subscribed when they match the segment and unsubscribed when they stop matching the segment.

This feature is still in testing mode > reach out to support to activate it for your account

Sync new subscribers from Klaviyo > CRM

It's now possible to sync new Klaiviyo subscribers to your CRM with all the fields! Once the subscriber is added to your CRM, Outfunnel also creates an activity showing which list they subscribed to.

Other updates

  • Outfunnel is now recording multiple unique Mailchimp URL clicks per campaign. Previously only the first URL click was recorded
  • Web tracking and email engagement activities are now also recorded under Pipedrive leads. Previously, they were linked to the contact, organization, and deal object.
  • HubSpot number property type is now supported when mapping fields for a connection

We’re pleased to officially announce the newest marketing automation tool you can easily connect with your CRM: Klaviyo.

Klaviyo has been on our to-do list for a long time and rightly so - it's been the top requested marketing tool for our users.

The new connection lets you deeply use Klaviyo in tandem with CRMs like Copper, Pipedrive, and HubSpot.

If your marketing team uses Klaviyo to send automated email campaigns, then here’s how you’ll benefit:

  • πŸ‘±πŸ½ Automatically keep contact lists in sync β€” make all CRM contacts or subsets available in Klaviyo lists, along with all custom contact and company fields. And then keep the databases in sync, so that if data changes in your CRM it’s instantly updated in Klaviyo as well.

  • βœ‰οΈ Give sales more context on leads β€” automatically record Klaviyo email opens, clicks, and unsubscribes in the CRM for the salespeople to see.

PS.

  • The integration is still in beta - if something is not working as expected or you'd like to see a feature added let us know!
  • Currently, engagement is recorded only from single email campaigns that are targeted at lists. Flow support and segment-targeted campaign support coming soon

⚑ Contact sync is now instant

Our team has been hard at work the past two weeks to improve the app connector and web tracking. Here's what we shipped:

  • Contact sync is now instant
  • Getting rid of bots with web tracking
  • Other smaller updates

Contact sync is now instant

Making syncing faster is our top priority and as the first update all fields now sync instantly for contacts that are in sync between a CRM and a marketing tool (Klaviyo, Mailchimp etc.).

We're looking to make new contact syncing and contact removing instant soon as well!

Getting rid of bots with web tracking

Web tracking script now starts with a 3-second delay on your website. This helps get rid of bot visits and clean up your web visitor feed.

Other improvements

  • It's now possible to map Contact Form 7 hidden fields
  • Email users can change the scheduled changing time for queued emails

Sync Linkedin Lead Gen Forms to your CRM

Outfunnel now syncs Linkedin Lead Gen Forms to your CRM πŸ§‘

We've just released our most requested integration to date - Linkedin Lead Gen Forms.

The good news is that it's part of your current plan and you can get started with it right away. The setup takes approximately 2 min and 21 seconds (I timed it)

Here's what you can do with it:

  • Automatically add new leads from Linkedin Lead Gen Forms to your CRM (Pipedrive, Copper, Salesforce, or HubSpot CRM) β€” no more manually exporting-importing lists.
  • Map custom fields, so all the necessary data is synced to your CRM β€” and sales can easily create custom filters or lists to categorize the incoming leads accordingly.
  • Record the form fill for your contacts in the CRM, so sales have the full context of the lead.

Web tracking

Track web visitors across subdomains

Outfunnel now tracks website visitors across your subdomains 🌎 ↔️ 🌎

Simply identify the lead on example.com and we'll automatically track their visits on app.example.com.

This means that you'll be able to get the lead's very first visit source recorded and synced to your CRM so you can truly understand which marketing channel drove the acquisition.

This use case is great for SaaS companies that direct their leads to the marketing website but where user registration happens in the app

How to get started

This works out of the box after implementing the web tracking snippet on your domain and subdomain. To test this:

  1. Navigate to the domain in incognito mode
  2. Identify yourself by registering an account or filling in a form on the subdomain
  3. You should see the initial lead source appear in Outfunnel and in the CRM, together with the domain visible in the URL

PS. We also updated the visitor feed in Outfunnel to show lead source and session length.

The new year starts with the launch of one of our most requested functionalities - the ability to identify leads from any email marketing or sales platform πŸš€

Previously, Outfunnel identified leads from HTML forms, Calendly, and Mailchimp emails but with our new tracking URL generator, we support almost every platform that you use to send sales or marketing email campaigns.

Sync new subscribers from ActiveCampaign to your CRM

If you're using our ActiveCampaign integration, any new contacts subscribed to specific ActiveCampaign Lists can now be synced over to your CRM with the relevant field mapping.

This feature is live for all users and you may need to edit your connection(s) in-app to make sure that the right Lists and monitored and the correct fields are mapped.

Include custom field data from your CRM in your lead scores

You can now use content from CRM custom fields in your lead-scoring calculations. This way, you can now do things like:

  • Add 10 points to a lead ​score if someone's job title includes "director"
  • Add 5 points to a lead score if the lead source is "affiliates"
  • Or add 2 points to a lead score if someone has been tagged as "high potential customer"

This update is immediately available to all Pipedrive and Copper customers on our Professional and Custom plans. For other plans it's available as a $49 add-on.
