With the newest update to the VinesOS-Mailchimp integration, you can easily segment customers with lists for Orders, Events, and POS Purchases.

Orders: Any time an online order is completed, the email address is automatically saved to Mailchimp. These emails can then be used for targeted email campaigns, promotions, or personalized product recommendations.

Events: By capturing emails for event attendees, you can send event updates, exclusive offers, or post-event follow-up surveys to gather feedback and improve future events.

POS: When a POS order is made, the customer's email address is saved to a tasting room list. This list can be used to send promotions, special offers, or event invitations to customers who have previously made on-site purchases.

With our latest update, you can now use the same cash drawer across multiple iPads, computers, or browsers to open/close Till or receive payment.

For example, let's say a staff member opens the Till on 'iPad 1' at the bar. Another staff member can now accept cash payment on 'iPad 2' at the door. VinesOS now has the flexibility to allow staff to receive cash from different devices and browsers, all to the same cash drawer.

Our newest POS software update allows staff to print, view, and close out past orders on a customer's profile with ease. We understand that navigating through multiple screens can be cumbersome, so we've introduced a convenient 'Close' option. With just one tap, you can swiftly exit the order screen, saving you valuable time and effort.

The process of handling declined orders just got easier with our newest software update. Previously, saving a card on file required manual entry into the POS home screen before processing a declined order. However, with the new update, you can now conveniently tap or swipe a credit card, automatically saving it to the system and allowing for effortless application to any declined order.

Our date range filter on the orders page offers a flexible and user-friendly experience, allowing you to narrow down data in a way that suits your needs. With just a few clicks, you can choose from several pre-defined timeframes or customize your date range. Filter by Specific Day, Week, Month, Year, or Custom Date Range

Individual cash and coin counts for the opening and closing of the register are now recorded and summed up with ease on the POS home screen.

With this feature, you can bid farewell to the hassle of manually counting an entire cash drawer. Instead, you can now conduct individual counts of each bill and coin denomination, eliminating the risk of errors and discrepancies. Additionally, you can speed up the cash-counting process significantly. The software automatically tallies the total amount of cash based on individual counts, saving you valuable time and effort.

To avoid LastPass autofill interruptions during demos, it's important to ensure you have the right LastPass Extension Settings.

Declined order notifications are now clearly visible on the customer profile to further streamline your tasting room operations. By displaying declined orders, your staff is empowered to promptly obtain updated credit card information and process or void open orders with ease. This real-time visibility ensures a seamless customer experience and prevents inventory from being held in layaway.

You can now measure QR code engagement in your VinesOS Dashboard. See the number of scans on any given product to give valuable data and analytics on customer behavior. With these insights, you can lead more effective and targeted marketing efforts, ultimately driving sales.

For issuing Partial Refunds, there is now an Order Type filter called 'Refund Required' which you can use to filter out any orders that have been customized on Revel or VinesOS (through the POS or Customize Order feature).

To further improve efficiency, we have introduced the 'Bulk Refund' button at the bottom of the Orders window. This new functionality allows you to process multiple partial refunds simultaneously, simplifying the refund management process.

** Attention Revel users: It is essential to complete and authorize a partial refund by logging into the VinesOS platform. This additional measure aims to prevent unintended full refunds that may arise due to the automated system's interaction between the two software platforms.
