Hi friend,
Now, you can not only add CRM variables to templates, but also create and send interactive demos directly from Salesforce.
This means that your team can access any template directly from Salesforce and that your demos will be automatically linked to the originating opportunity because they were created directly in the CRM.
In addition, if your template includes CRM variables, they'll be automatically filled in with information from the opportunity it’s linked to.
All so you never have to leave your Salesforce workflows.
To learn more, check out this Walnut demo or read the article.
FYI: This feature is only accessible by installing the Walnut app within Salesforce.
Hi Friend,
Calling all Admins!
Now, you can define the default settings for all of the company’s demos to reduce human error and make sure your team adheres to the company standards.
This means that for demo gate, Admins can determine:
1. Whether the demo gate is on or off.
2. If non-work domains (@gmail, @yahoo, and @outlook) can access the demo.
3. If there’s a welcome message.
4. What the colors are.
5. What the preview settings are.
Admins can also create an allowed or blocked list to define who has access to the company’s demos.
FYI: Changes in the company settings will only apply to newly created demos. In addition, when a user creates a demo, they should see the pre-set values that the Admin defined.

Hi friend,
Now, you can showcase your Walnut demos on any mobile device.
This means that viewers can check out your interactive demos on your website, landing pages, and knowledge base, or any demos that you send to them directly on their mobile devices.
FYI: When viewing demos on mobile devices, the Comments, Presenter Notes, FAB, and Guide Toolbar features are not supported.

Hi friend,
Now, anyone can create a folder for their own content. All to give you more control and help you create a more organized Demo Library.
How do you use this feature?
In the ‘My Library’ section, you will see the option to create a new folder.
You can then:
1. Create a private folder.
2. Move demos that you own. (You will also have editing access to the folders you own.)
3. Invite contributors to a folder.
FYI: You won’t be able to change the folder permission to ‘Public’.

Hi Friend,
Now, it’s easier than ever before to turn your text guides into audio guides, without the need to record each one separately and upload the file manually.
With AI, you can now combine Text-To-Speech and autoplay to create a more passive viewing experience and improve accessibility.
How can you use this feature?
1. Create an autoplay presentation that you can use during a conference or a tradeshow.
2. Make your demo more accessible for vision-impaired viewers.
FYI: The audio won’t be automatically updated when your guide text is modified. So, to update the generated audio, you need to generate a new file and delete the old one.

Hi friend,
Dreamed of being able to change your guides’ placement within your screens or update the text within many different guides?
Well, that dream is now a reality.
Now, it’s easy to maintain and update your guides so you don’t need to rebuild your demos every time you want to make a significant change.
What are the use cases?
1. Rebuild the structure of any narrative with multiple guides.
2. Update the text within multiple guides.
3. Re-assign guides to different screens than the one it was originally attached to.
Hi friend,
Say goodbye to not being able to personalize your guide steps when creating a demo from a template!
Now, you will be able to customize guide steps using text variables.
How can you use this feature?
1. Creators can allow Presenters to use text variables to personalize guides.
2. You can personalize the avatar image for each individual seller or prospect.
FYI: Find & Replace is not supported for text variables.
To learn more about text variables, check out the Walnut demo or read the article.

Hi friend,
Introducing our new Insert Screen Templates feature!
This feature lets you add a screen from a set of templates. All so you can demo any native mobile app, native desktop app, or image-based prototype.
How can you use this feature?
1. Showcase a multi-device experience in one demo— You can now demo your web app, and then showcase how the flow ends or continues in a mobile app.
2. Showcase a desktop native app— You can also take screenshots from your desktop app, and then use them as the screens for your demo.
FYI: You can’t change the image containers without custom HTML work. So, for the best fit, use the images that have the recommended dimensions for the particular template you’re working with.

Hi Friend,
As an admin, you can now apply your chosen brand style settings to any demo or template used throughout the company.
This will allow you to prevent editors from changing these settings and ensure a consistent product experience throughout all of your company’s demos.
To do this, all you have to do is click the new toggle in the ‘Brand Style’ tab.

Hi friend,
Now, you can highlight a particular area on the screen and use a Custom Element. All to give you more flexibility when it comes to linking screens or incorporating guides.
How can you use this feature?
1. You can link multiple screens to a large image to tell a unique story.
2. You can also personalize your templates that only have flat images.
FYI
You can only use Custom Elements when the ‘Display Options’ are set to ‘Proportional Fit’ or ‘Fixed Width’. If you switch back to ‘Dynamic Screen Size’, the Custom Elements won’t be deleted, but you won’t be able to see them on the screen. You’ll be able to see the elements again once you change the display.
